Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.
Author Guidelines
Papers submitted for publication must conform to the following guidelines:
- Article consists of title, name of author, affiliation, abstract (Indonesian and English), keywords, introduction including methods, results and discussion, conclusion, and references (Template).
- Unless otherwise indicated earlier, abbreviations should be avoided. Titles of article should be written out in full.
- Article should be actual, based on either conceptual or empirical research findings, and references derived from books and accredited national journal articles, especially reputable international journals.
- The article has not yet been published elsewhere, original, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals.
- Manuscript may be written in bahasa Indonesia or English approximately 4500-6000 words long including tables, and figures.
- Each manuscript should begin with a 150-250 word abstract of its content.
- Keywords contain three to five words/phrases separated by comma.
- Quotations, passages, and words in local language should be translated in Indonesia or English.
- Notes should be numbered in the form of footnote.
- Article should be original script and free from plagiarism and that it should be previously checked by turnitin application and the like.
- Citations and bibliographical style must be set automatically using Reference Manager (e.g. Mendeley, EndNote, Zotero) in American Psychological Association 7th edition style.
- Manuscripts may be edited for style prior to publication. Author should follow in-house style of Al-Adyan: Journal of Religious Studies.
- Authors should be willing to respond to questions from readers of their articles.
- Manuscript should be registered through Open Journal System (OJS)Al-Adyan: Journal of Religious Studies.
- Al-Adyan: Journal of Religious Studies use Arabic-Indonesia translation guide as like this: ب ,(’) ا (b), ت (t), ث (th), ج (j), ح (ḥ), خ (kh), د (d), ذ (dh), ر (r), ز (z), س (s), ش (sh), ص (ṣ), ض (ḍ), ط (ṭ), ظ (ẓ), ع (‘), غ(gh), ف (f), ق (q), ك (k), ل (l), م (m), ن (n), و (w), _ (h), ء (’), ى (y).To demonstrate sound long vocal (madd) with writing scribbles on letter â, î and û. Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
Copyright Notice
Manuscript submitted by the author and accepted for publication in Al-Adyan: Journal of Religious Studies. Copyright includes the exclusive right to reproduce and transmit the article in all forms and media, including reprints, photographs, microfilms, and other similar reproductions, and translation is granted in full to the author. Authors are also permitted and encouraged to post their work online both in the institutional repository and on their websites before and during the submission process. As this can lead to productive exchanges as well as greater citations of published works.

This journal charges the following author fees.

Authors are required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.
Article Publication: 750000.00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.
If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
