Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals.

Manuscript texts may be composed in either English or Indonesian. Initial evaluation will be conducted by the editorial board.

The primary content of a manuscript should be submitted in either Word Document (.doc) or Rich Text Format (.rtf).

The manuscript should comprise between 5000-8000 words, meticulously formatted as a single column on A4-sized paper, utilizing 11-point Century font on 1,15-spaced.

Submissions are expected to present original contributions with the potential to significantly advance scientific knowledge.

The manuscript should contain the following section in this orders:

  • Title. Title of articles in English should describe the main content of manuscripts, be informative, concise, and not too wordy (12-15 words only), and does not contain formulas.
  • The author’s name. Full name without academic degrees and titles, written in capital letters. Manuscript written by groups needs to supplemented by complete contact details.
  • Name of affiliation for each author. The author name should be accompanied by complete affiliation address, postal code number, telephone number and email address.
  • Abstract. Crafted concisely in English within a single paragraph spanning 150-200 words, the document encapsulates the background, research objectives, methodology, results, and salient findings of the study.
  • Keywords. Written in English 3-5 words or groups of words, written alphabetically.
  • Introduction. Providing an exposition of the contextual backdrop, identifying pertinent issues, highlighting the significance of the research endeavor, and presenting a concise literature review directly relevant to the study or antecedent findings warranting further exploration. This segment culminates with a delineation of the research objectives. It is imperative to maintain equilibrium between the theoretical underpinnings and practical applications inherent to the subject matter.
  • Methods. Make sure that work can be repeated according to the details provided. It contains technical information of the study presented clearly. Therefore, readers can conduct research based on the techniques presented. Materials and equipment specifications are necessary. Approaches or procedures of study together with data analysis methods must be presented.
  • Literature reviewCritical analysis and synthesis of existing research on a particular topic. It provides an overview of the current state of knowledge, identifies gaps, and highlights key findings in the literature published no later than the last 10 years.
  • ResultsShould prominently feature well-prepared tables and/or figures, as they serve to communicate the primary observations to readers effectively. Any information conveyed through tables and figures need not be reiterated in the text; rather, the text should emphasize the significance of the principal findings of the study. Typically, journal papers will incorporate three to seven figures and tables. Duplication of data in both tables and figures is to be avoided. The study results are deliberated upon to address the formulated problem, objectives, and research hypotheses.
  • DiscussionHighly recommended that the discussion centers on the rationales, methodologies, and potential implications of the research findings, while also considering their applicability to related issues. Elucidate the contributions of your research to the advancement of science. 
  • ConclussionThe conclusion should be drawn from the research findings, formulated concerns, and research objectives. It should be articulated in a single paragraph devoid of numerical expressions. Elaborate on the contributions of your research to the field of science.
  • AcknowledgementAll individuals who have contributed to the work but are not listed as authors should be acknowledged, with their specific contributions delineated. Additionally, all sources of funding for the research must be acknowledged, specifying both the funding agency and the grant number, if applicable, for each funding source.
  • ReferencesManuscripts are composed employing established citation management software such as Mendeley, Endnote, or Zotero. The Chicago 17th Edition referencing style is mandated. Approximately 80% of the references cited in literature reviews should derive from recent scholarly journals published within the past decade, with the remaining 20% drawn from research reports and/or articles.

Submitted article contain manuscripts files and a short author’s bio, sent via OJS.

Foreign language words or phrases are written in italics, while Arabic-Latin transliteration refers to Arabic-Indonesian transliteration according to the

Compound words (idhafiyah) are written in a separate for words, such as Al-Islam wa Ushul al-Hukm, al’adalah al-ijtima’iyah.

All publications cited in the text must be included in the list of references. Ensure that any references cited in the text are included in the list of references or otherwise.

The author of the article is given the opportunity to revise the manuscript based on recommendations/suggestions from reviewers or editors.

Articles that do not meet the writing guidelines and have many errors will be rejected by the editor. The editor does not accept hard copy submissions. Juris articles in the online version in pdf format can be opened and accessed for free in this journal.

Everything related to licensing for citation or the use computer software for manuscripts or other matters related to intellectual property rights carried out by the author of the article, as well as any legal consequences that may arise because of it, is the full responsibility of the author of the article.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is 1,15-spaced; uses a Century 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
