Abstract

ABSTRACT

Hajj is a form of worship which is the main pillar in the religious practices of the people which must be carried out by every capable Muslim, both physically, mentally and financially. This research aims to analyze related literature which discusses the influence of the Hajj pilgrimage in deepening understanding of religion and building individual Islamic character in everyday life. Using literature methods, this research analyzes various related articles and books that discuss the influence of the Hajj pilgrimage on the formation of Islamic character. The results of the literature review show that the Hajj pilgrimage has a profound impact on understanding religion, increasing spiritual awareness, and strengthening individual ties to Islamic values. Thus, this research makes a positive contribution to understanding the role of the Hajj pilgrimage in the formation of Islamic character, as well as offering new views on religious practices that can have a positive impact on the daily lives of Muslims.
