Konsep Bimbingan Konseling Islam: Sebuah Kajian dalam Tafsir Al Qur’an Surah Al-Kahfi Ayat 60-82

Abstract


Islamic guidance and counseling play a central role in helping individuals overcome various life challenges holistically, encompassing spiritual, moral, and emotional aspects. This study aims to explore the concept of Islamic guidance and counseling through an analysis of Surah Al-Kahf, verses 60–82, which narrate the story of the encounter between Prophet Musa and Khidr. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, collecting data from a range of classical and contemporary sources, including tafsir books, Islamic literature, and scholarly journals. The analysis uses a thematic interpretation approach (tafsir maudhū‘i), which examines the theme of guidance throughout the selected verses. The findings reveal that Islamic guidance reflects the counselee's struggle in seeking an appropriate mentor, as well as the counselor’s responsibility to convey knowledge with wisdom. The guidance process also highlights the importance of patience, effective communication, and the use of advice and exemplary conduct in the interaction between mentor and mentee. These insights contribute to the development of modern counseling practices rooted in Islamic values.
