Pelatihan Metode Pembelajaran Bahasa Asing (Arab dan Inggris) bagi Guru (Asatidz dan Ummahat) di Pesantren Modern Terpadu Prof. Dr. Hamka Padang

Abstract


In realizing the goals to be achieved from the education carried out at the Integrated Modern Islamic Boarding School, Prof. Dr. Hamka Padang, of course, supporting facilities as well as entities and attributes towards this are really needed, including: deep religious knowledge, high foreign language skills, good social interaction. In connection with the narrative above, it is deemed necessary to increase efforts in teaching foreign languages, especially (Arabic and English) at the Integrated Modern Islamic Boarding School Prof. Dr. Hamka Padang by using all available energy and infrastructure. In this case, a training model with interesting methods will be sought to improve the foreign language skills of teachers (asatidz and ummahat) in the Islamic boarding school environment in order to overcome problems related to teaching and learning foreign languages. The foreign language in question is other than Indonesian, namely (Arabic and English). Teaching Islamic sciences originating from the Middle East certainly requires solid and good mastery of foreign languages, because the output expected from Islamic boarding school students is their ability to guide the community, teaching Islamic knowledge originating from al-Islam. Qur'an and al-Hadith. The method used in this training is fahmil masymu' and the use of ICT (Information Communication & Technology) through IoT (Internet of Things), Animation, Satellite, Video, Audio, Social Media as well as conversation trials with Middle Eastern Foreigners (Foreign Citizens). Saudi Arabia and Australia.
