Jurnal Al-Taujih : Bingkai Bimbingan dan Konseling Islami is a peer-reviewed, scientific journal published by Universitas Islam Negeri Imam Bonjol Padang. The first issue was published on 2015 (prints). Since the first publication, it has changed several times in term of journal management and policy.

Jurnal Al-Taujih : Bingkai Bimbingan dan Konseling Islami has been online since 2017 but without e-ISSN.
Although Jurnal Al-Taujih : Bingkai Bimbingan dan Konseling Islami has been online since 2017 yet the editorial process was done offline, including submission and review.
2018 Jurnal Al-Taujih : Bingkai Bimbingan dan Konseling Islami is back online when ojs version 2.4 upgrading to OJS 3
for the second time Jurnal Al-Taujih : Bingkai Bimbingan dan Konseling Islami returned to online in 2019 after a policy was taken to keep using OSS version 2.4.8 as an electronic journal media. ojs 2.4.8 is found to be easier to use and apply in managing electronic journals.
Since the first publication of the journal altaujih, it uses a template that has not used a header and footer as identifiers, therefore in volume 5 no.2 December 2019 the altaujih journal template is added a header and footer as journal identifiers.
At the end of 2019 the journal al taujih submitted e-ISSN to LIPI and in January 2020 the e-ISSN journal by LIPI was published.
On Vol. 6, No. 1 Januari - Juni 2020, the ISSN Online was issued by LIPI.
In 2020, the management agreed to do online editorial process.
On the 2020, the journal were registered and indexed to several website, including Google Scholar, Garuda, Moraref etc.
On 2020, we have been accredited by the Directorate General of Higher Education Ministry of National Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia No. 200/M/KPT/2020 on Desember 23, 2020.
/On September 27th, 2021, the chairman and secretary of Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling Pendidikan Islam at Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang were inaugurated. The management of the Altaujih Journal: Bingkai Bimbingan dan Konseling Islami, which was previously managed by the Islamic Education Management Program, has now been taken over by Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling Pendidikan Islam . The publication of Volume 7 No. 2 in 2021 marks the beginning of the management of the Altaujih Journal by Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling Pendidikan Islam
