MENGATASI STRES YANG BERKELANJUTAN : STUDI TENTANG STRES MAHASISWA DI KELAS VIRTUAL SELAMA WABAH COVID 19 DI INDONESIA

Abstract


Pandemi covid 19 membawa banyak dampak bagi segala sektor kehidupan termasuk sektor pendidikan. Kegiatan pembelajaran yang harus dilaksanakan secara virtual menimbulkan masalah pada mahasiswa Indonesia yang pada umumnya belum terbiasa melakukan perkuliahan secara virtual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan stress yang dialami oleh mahasiswa selama belajar virtual dan implikasinya terhadap pelayanan konseling yang dapat diberikan di perguruan tinggi pada masa pandemi. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksploratif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa yang menjalani perkuliahan virtual selama pandemi covid 19 di Indonesia yang diambil secara random. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online kepada sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 74,8% sampel mengalami peningkatan stress saat mengikuti pembelajaran virtual dengan gejala yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian akan dijadikan sebagai data awal untuk merancang model konseling yang efektif dan solutif di era new normal.
