Analysis Of Student’ Satisfaction In Online Learning Through Technology Mastery And Learning Motivation

Abstract


The Covid-19 pandemic has compelled education worldwide to transition to online learning as an alternative mode of education. Although the pandemic has ended, it is not unlikely for some institutions to continue utilizing online learning as an alternative. Students may likely face difficulties during online learning, which can lead to a decrease in their learning motivation. Additionally, the level of students' proficiency in the technology used during the learning process also plays a significant role in their learning outcomes. So, this study aims to determine the level of student satisfaction in terms of mastery of technology and learning motivation of SMKN 8 Padang students during online learning. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale. The number of students selected was 108 people using cluster random sampling, the data validity technique was carried out with the corrected item-total correlation test. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 23.0 for data processing. The results of this study prove that mastery of technology and learning motivation partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction at SMKN 8 Padang. This study provides valuable insights into the factors influencing student satisfaction in online learning and offers recommendations for educational institutions to improve the quality of online education
