PENGARUH PENYULUHAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DETEKSI DINI KANKER SERVIKS DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS HUTAIMBARU KOTA PADANGSIDIMPUAN TAHUN 2020

Abstract

ABSTRACT

Cervical cancer is a cancer that ranks third with the highest incidence and death rate in women in the world. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of health education  on knowledge of early detection of cervical cancer in working area of primary health care Hutaimbaru city of Padangsidimpuan 2020. The type of research to be used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design with a one-group-pretest-posttest design model. The population in this research is all the mother who ever went to primary health care Hutaimbaru Padangsidimpuan, 52 people sample by using total sampling technique. The results of this study, there are significant differences / influence on increasing knowledge about early detection of cervical cancer through health education about cervical cancer with p-value is 0.000. Suggested For respondents to participate in health education by medical personnel, especially about cervical cancer and make early detection of cervical cancer to prevent the disease in the future.
