PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN SELF EFFICACY TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA JURUSAN PAI FAKULTAS TARBIYAH DAN KEGURUAN UIN IMAM BONJOL PADANG

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to help educators (lecturers) and education practitioners know the effect of motivation on learning achievement and to know the effect of self efficacy on learning achievement partially, and to know the effect of motivation and self efficacy simultaneously on student achievement PAI at faculty Tarbiyah and Keguruan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. This type of research is field research using field associative approaches and quantitative methods. The population in this study were 218 semester IV students majoring in Islamic Education. Since the population is homogeneous, the sampling technique uses simple random sampling techniques, so the sample obtained is 141 students. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are test requirements analysis, classic assumption tests and hypothesis testing. The results showed that (1) the motivation had a positive and significant influence on the learning achievement of students PAI at the faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang, (2) self-efficacy had a positive and significant influence on students' achievement PAI in faculty Tarbiyah and Keguruan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang, (3) motivation and self efficacy together (simultaneous) gave a positive and significant influence on the learning achievement of students PAI in the faculty Tarbiyah and Keguruan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang.
