Konsep Kecerdasan Emosional dalam Pembentukan Karakter Remaja Perspektif Pendidikan Islam

Abstract


This research is motivated by the current condition that there are often mistakes in understanding the concept of education, parents prioritize cognitive-oriented education for their children rather than affective, so it is often found that teenagers with vulnerable conditions have low emotional intelligence. So the formation of emotional intelligence becomes a necessity for adolescents which includes elements of self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation, empathy and social interaction. This study aims to determine the concept of awareness, regulation, motivation, self-empathy and the concept of interaction in the formation of adolescent character from an Islamic education perspective. This research uses library research method. The method used is by reviewing books related to the titles discussed. Then the data that has been collected is discussed and analyzed, through inductive and deductive thinking patterns. Based on the results of the study, so that teenagers with Islamic characters were born in accordance with the guidance of the Qur'an and hadith as the basis of Islamic education. To create happiness in this world and the hereafter.
