Sistem Informasi Arsip Kerusakan Container dan Monitoring Alat Berat Lapangan di PT IPC Terminal Petikemas Area Panjang, Lampung

Abstract


PT IPC Terminal Petikemas Area Panjang operates a terminal with an integrated port-to-port network for container services. The frequent use of containers leads to damage that needs to be properly documented. Currently, the documentation of container damage is done manually, resulting in document pile-ups and difficulties in retrieving archived documents. Additionally, heavy equipment monitoring in the field still relies on manual communication using HT, which is inefficient. This study develops a website-based information system using PHP, HTML, and MySQL to address these issues. The system development method used is the waterfall model. Functional testing through black box testing showed that the system works as expected, while User Acceptance Testing (UAT) achieved a satisfaction rate of 80.58%. This system is expected to enhance operational efficiency by simplifying the archiving of container damage and monitoring heavy equipment more effectively and automatically.
