Pengacakan Soal Ujian Menggunakan Pseudo-Random Number Generator Dengan Metode Logistic Map

Abstract


Exam question randomization is an important method for maintaining integrity and fairness in the academic evaluation process. This study aims to develop and analyze the use of a Pseudo-Random Number Generator (PRNG) with the Logistic Map method in exam question randomization. The Logistic Map, a simple mathematical function derived from chaos theory, can produce a sequence of numbers that appear random through its function. This study examines the effectiveness of the Logistic Map in generating random numbers and compares it with other PRNG methods. The results show that the Logistic Map can produce a sequence of exam questions that are truly random and unpredictable, thus reducing the potential for cheating among exam participants. Additionally, this method has proven to be simple and efficient to implement in a large-scale exam question randomization system. Therefore, the use of a PRNG with the Logistic Map method can be an effective solution for improving the quality and fairness of the evaluation process in the academic environment.
