Theoretical Framework Pendidikan Islam Berbasis Pendekatan Multi-Inter Transdisipliner

Abstract


Model pendekatan pendidikan Islam era modern dan post-modern direpresentasikan oleh para ahli melalui berbagai model pendekatan antara agama dan sains yang sinergis terhadap problematika sosial. Minimnya implementasi terhadap pola integrasi sains dan agama sehingga menjadikan stagnansi-degradasi terhadap produk pendidikan (learning outputs-outcomes) dalam pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian dengan metode kepustakaan ini menggunakan telaah kritis dan teoritis dari sumber primer yaitu Ian Barbour (konflik, independen, dialog, dan integrasi) melalui pendekatan agama dan sains dalam konstruksi dan kontekstualisasi model pendekatan pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam membutuhkan dua pola model agama dan sains dalam menghadapi tantangan era education-industry revolution 4.0 dan society 5.0, yaitu; (1) model integrasi-interkoneksi atau multidisipliner, interdisipliner, dan transdisipliner oleh Amin Abdullah yang mensinergikan religious studies, philosophy, dan social science dan (2) Sains-Islam oleh Agus Purwanto dengan mensinergikan religious studies dan natural science. Dua model utama ini diharapkan mampu diaplikasikan oleh pendidikan Islam dalam tingkat institusi maupun mata pelajaran sesuai dengan asas relevansi dan pemecahan masalah dalam kehidupan social.
