Focus and Scope

Tathwir is an open-access and peer reviewed journal published by Jurusan Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam, Fakultas Dakwah dan Ilmu Komunikasi, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Imam Bonjol Padang. The objective of the journal is to promote the sharing of knowledge and understanding on the sosiety development and empowerment issues. This journal covers crosscuting issues on development and empowerment in the perspectives of Islam.

The Tathwir Journal also called article and report research about advance critical community development theory, race adn ethnicity,  feminism an gender, participation and social justice, economic development, poverty, housing, issues of environmental development and all kinds of  problems related to Islamic community development.

Peer Review Process

TATHWIR: Jurnal Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam is an electronic journal published by Jurusan Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam Fakultas Dakwah dan Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Islam Negeri Imam Bonjol Padang-West Sumatra Indonesia. The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. Final decision will be made by editor-in-chieft accorting with the comments given by reviewers. The accepted research articles will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process.Language used in this journal is Indonesia, English or Arabic. Screening of Plagiarism will be done by utilizing Google scholar and/or Viper.

TATHWIR: Jurnal Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam publishes two issues per year.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

All articles published Open Access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download.
