TRANSFORMASI PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB UNTUK MENDORONG PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN GLOBAL DALAM KERANGKA SDGS

Abstract


This study aims to examine the role of Arabic language learning in supporting the enhancement of global skills in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in inclusive education and cross-cultural communication skills. A qualitative approach using literature review methods was employed to identify best practices in Arabic language learning and its contribution to global skill development. The findings reveal that Arabic language education plays a strategic role in improving international communication abilities and intercultural understanding, supporting the achievement of SDG 4 on inclusive and quality education. Technology, such as online learning platforms and gamified applications, has proven effective in enhancing student engagement and speaking proficiency. However, several challenges were identified, including the digital divide, lack of quality teaching resources, and limited teacher training in technology-based learning methods. Therefore, this study recommends improving digital infrastructure, providing relevant and technology-based teaching materials, and enhancing teacher training to make Arabic language learning more effective, inclusive, and optimally supportive of SDG achievement.
