KONSEP PSIKOLOGI SUFI ROBERT FRAGER: MODEL INTEGRASI TASAWUF DALAM KERANGKA PSIKOLOGI MODERN

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Robert Frager’s concept of Sufi psychology as a model for integrating Sufism into the framework of modern psychology. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method through a library-based study. Data collection was carried out by examining literature relevant to the research object. The study applies a philosophical approach that emphasizes argumentation, rational analysis, and logical reasoning in interpreting the data. The findings indicate that Robert Frager’s integration of Sufism within the framework of modern psychology can be divided into three aspects: conceptual integration, methodological integration, and epistemological integration. Theoretically, the implications of Frager’s integration broaden the scope of psychology toward a more holistic orientation by incorporating the spiritual dimensions of Sufism as an essential part of human personality. Practically, Frager’s integrative model has a significant impact on the fields of therapy and personal development
