PENGARUH EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE SISWA DAN KETERAMPILAN MENGAJAR GURU TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA BIDANG STUDI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMAN 8 PADANG

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to help educators (teachers) and education practitioners know the effect of students 'emotional intelligence on learning outcomes and determine the effect of teacher teaching skills on learning outcomes partially, as well as knowing the effect of students' emotional intelligence and teacher teaching skills simultaneously on student learning outcomes in Field of Islamic Education Studies at SMAN 8 Padang. This type of research is field research using an associative approach and quantitative methods. The population in this study were students of SMAN 8 Padang, totaling 572 students. Since the population is homogeneous, the sampling technique uses stratifed random sampling technique, so that the samples obtained are 85 students. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is the test requirements analysis and hypothesis testing. The results showed that, (1) the emotional intelligence of students had a positive and significant influence on student learning outcomes in the Field of Islamic Education Studies at SMAN 8 Padang. (2) teacher teaching skills have a positive and significant influence on student learning outcomes in the Field of Islamic Education Studies at SMAN 8 Padang. (3) students' emotional intelligence and teacher's teaching skills together (simultaneously) have a positive and significant impact on student learning outcomes in the Field of Islamic Education Studies at SMAN 8 Padang.
