ANALISIS KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK SMA MELALUI SOAL KONSEPTUAL FISIKA DI KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG

Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to analyze critical thinking skills in students of MAN 1 Tulungagung in class XII MIPA 2 & 3 in learning physics on sound wave material. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The critical thinking assessment instrument was obtained by an essay test referring to 4 of the 6 critical thinking skills according to Facione (2013), namely indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation and explanation, with each sub-skill and guide questions that stimulate critical thinking skills. The results of the study indicate that students' critical thinking skills get different scores and categories for each indicator. Interpretation and evaluation skills with Good criteria, and on the analysis and explanation indicators with Sufficient criteria. Critical thinking skills need to be studied because critical thinking skills need to be possessed by students in solving various challenges in the era of scientific and technological progress in the future.
