Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

General Format

  • Articles should be written in a single column format using Cambria 12-pt font, 1.15 line spacing, and A4 paper size.
  • Margins: left 3 cm; right, top, and bottom 2.5 cm.
  • Minimum 4000 words and maximum 25 pages.
  • Paragraphs should have a 1 cm indent at the beginning of the first line.
  • Files should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc, .docx, or .rtf).

Title and Author Information

  • Article titles should be a maximum of 15 words and reflect the content of the study.
  • Author names, affiliations, and corresponding author’s email and phone number must be clearly included.

Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstracts must be written in both English and Indonesian, 150–200 words each.
  • Abstracts should include the research purpose, methods, and main findings.
  • Use Cambria 11-pt font with single spacing.
  • Keywords: 3–5 keywords/phrases separated by semicolons (;).

Introduction

The introduction must:
  1. Explain the general background of the study.
  2. Provide a state-of-the-art and gap analysis.
  3. End with the research objective linked to the background and gap.

Methods

The method section must:
  • Detail the research steps clearly, including subjects, data collection, and data analysis techniques.
  • For qualitative studies, include researcher presence, informants, setting, and validity checks.
  • For literature/systematic reviews, describe the methodology in detail.

Results and Discussion

  • Present data analysis and findings concisely (not raw data).
  • Compare and contrast with previous studies.
  • Answer research questions and interpret findings scientifically.
  • End with implications and suggestions for future research.
  • Use structured subheadings (1, 2, 3; a, b, c; (1), (2), (3)).
  • Use Traditional Arabic 16pt for Arabic text.

Figures, Tables, and Equations

Figures and Graphics

  • Centered with bold titles below the image (Cambria 10pt).
  • Numbered sequentially: Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.

Tables

  • Centered within or after text description.
  • No vertical lines. Only horizontal lines.
  • Titles above the table in bold (Cambria 10pt).
  • Table content uses Cambria 10pt font, single spacing.

Equations

  • Use equation editor.
  • Numbered and aligned right, like: (1).
  • All symbols must be defined either before or after the equation.

Conclusion

  • Summarize findings in relation to the objectives.
  • Highlight scientific contributions and practical implications.
  • Do not simply restate the abstract.
  • May include suggestions for future research.

Acknowledgements

  • Mention any institutions, funders, or individuals who supported the research (funding, licensing, data collection, etc.).

References

  • Use APA 7th edition format.
  • Minimum 20 references (60–80% from peer-reviewed journals in the last 10 years).
  • Use reference manager tools (Mendeley, Zotero, etc.).
  • Include DOI where applicable.

Submission Preparation Checklist

  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
