EFEKTIVITAS BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK DENGAN TEKNIK JOURNALING DALAM MENINGKATKAN PERENCANAAN KARIR

Abstract

Career planning is a process where individuals learn about themselves and their environment, make commitments, choose, plan all career fields consciously and realistically accept the various consequences to achieve the desired goals. Career planning is very important for all individuals, especially students. This is because individuals are more confident, are not easily influenced by other people, can determine their career according to their potential and accept all the consequences. Based on this, researchers conducted this research with the aim of finding out 1) The level of students' career planning before and after implementing group guidance services using journaling techniques. 2) The level of effectiveness of group guidance services using journaling techniques in improving students' career planning. The method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental type of research and uses a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique was carried out using proportionate stratified random sampling which obtained 12 respondents. The research results show that group guidance services using journaling techniques are effective for improving career planning as proven by the significance value of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, namely 0.002 which can be said to be less than 0.05 so Ha cannot be rejected. Apart from that, the N-Gain test, which obtained a score of 0.43 > 0.30, stated that the treatment given could be said to be effective.
