Analisis Kebutuhan Pengembangan Buku Ajar Digital Interaktif Berbasis STEM Materi Ekologi Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa SMP
Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk restrukturisasi pengajaran dan praktik pembelajaran. Salah satu bentuk pemanfaatannya adalah pengemasan buku ajar cetak menjadi digital, sehingga dapat diakses melalui komputer, tablet, maupun smartphone tanpa batasan ruang dan waktu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap buku ajar ekologi digital interaktif berbasis STEM. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Responden terdiri atas 17 guru SMP dan 79 siswa SMP di Kabupaten Jember, Banyuwangi, dan Situbondo yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh guru IPA SMP (100%) membutuhkan buku ajar digital, sedangkan 90,8% siswa menginginkan buku ajar ekologi digital yang praktis. Selain itu, 94,1% guru dan 96,1% siswa menyatakan setuju dikembangkan buku ajar digital interaktif berbasis STEM pada materi ekologi. Buku ajar yang diharapkan mencakup teks dengan bahasa yang jelas dan efektif, dilengkapi gambar menarik, video, audio, serta animasi pembelajaran. Responden juga menekankan pentingnya latihan, uji kompetensi, petunjuk penggunaan, simulasi praktikum, dan soal yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
