Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh UPT Pengembangan Bahasa UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Jurnal ini utamanya diperuntukkan sebagai ladang bagi pemerhati dan peneliti bahasa untuk menyemai buah pemikirannya dan menyebarkannya pada khalayak. Oleh karena itu kajian dalam jurnal ini tidak dikhususkan pada satu bahasa meliankan multi bahasa, yaitu bahasa Arab, bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Indonesia.

Dear Authors and Readers of Imlah: Islamic Manuscripts of Linguistics and Humanity We are pleased to announce that our journal has updated its article template to improve consistency, readability, and the overall submission process. Effective immediately, all manuscript submissions must adhere to the new format, which includes a change to 2 columns on a single page. Starting from Volume 7 Number 2 of 2025, all authors are required to use the new template for future submissions.
