Abstract

School culture is a crucial foundation for realizing a learning climate that is conducive, humanistic, and oriented toward the character formation of students. Within this context, teachers hold a central role as role models, classroom managers, value developers, and drivers of various school programs. This study aims to analyze the contribution of teachers in building school culture. The research employs a qualitative approach with a library research method, examining books, journal articles, research reports, and policy documents relevant to the topic. Publish or Perish 8 is used as an instrument to search for literature related to the research theme. The data were analyzed through the stages of reduction, thematic classification, and inductive conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that teachers’ contributions to building school culture are reflected in three main dimensions: (1) the personal dimension, in the form of exemplary attitudes, consistent behavior, and moral integrity; (2) the pedagogical dimension, through the integration of positive cultural values into the learning process and classroom management; and (3) the institutional dimension, through teachers’ active participation in the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of school culture programs. This study also emphasizes that building school culture is a continuous effort that requires ongoing dedication from all parties involved.
