STRATEGI KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MEMBINA HUBUNGAN DENGAN KOMITE SEKOLAH

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the principal's strategy in carrying out relations with the school. The research that the author did was using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were the principal, committee and parents of students at SMA Negeri 01 District VII Koto Sungai Sarik in the course of collecting data, the authors used interviews, observation, and documentation methods. While the data analysis technique by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that: the relationship between the principal and the committee has been going well and smoothly, and also between the school and the committee has been supportive in advancing the school, as evidenced by the strategy carried out by the principal, namely, ( a) Always maintain communication with the committee and the community around the school, (b) Maintain a cooperative relationship with the committee and also involve the committee in school activities, (c) always apply transparency to the community. The role of the committee at SMA Negeri 01 Kecamatan VII Koto Sungai Sarik, namely (a) the School Committee as a giver of considerations, (b) the Committee as a supporter of educational service activities, (c) the school committee as a controller of educational service activities, (d) School committee liaison or hook communication between the community and the government
