Designing Classroom Instruction for Speaking Skills at Al-Munawwarah Institute, Jambi

Abstract

The study about the planning of special classes in learning Arabic speaking skills. the purpose of this study is to find out how the process of planning special classes in learning Arabic language skills is carried out at almunawwarah boarding school in jambi. the method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach carried out on grade VII students of almunawwarah boarding school. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using coding techniques to identify the main themes related to maharah kalam learning planning at the Al-Munawwarah Institute. The findings were analyzed to describe the objectives, materials, methods, and assessments in the planning. The validity of the findings was strengthened by triangulation of sources. he results of this study indicate that the planning of special classes for learning speaking skills at the institution has been arranged systematically and gradually. first socialized by the school then this program is implemented by all seventh grade students in even semester. The program begins with an introduction by the school, followed by implementation for all seventh-grade students in the even semester. The evaluation process involves written tests to measure basic Arabic language skills, oral tests to assess speaking ability, and interviews to assess student motivation, mental readiness, and commitment. This approach demonstrates the institution's comprehensive efforts to build students' speaking skills in a structured and measurable manner.
